The Investment Company Institute's (ICI's) 2019 Mutual Funds and Investment Management Conference (MFIMC) continues today and tomorrow and wraps up Wednesday. The four-day event is being held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. Featured speakers expected to appear include: Dalia Blass, director of the SEC's division of investment management; Alison Levine, a polar explorer and mountaineer; Jack Marshall, president and founder of ProEthics; and Elad Roisman, one of the SEC's five commissioners. A host of fundster allies, including BBD and WilmerHale, are hosting parties at the conference.

Also today, Kristi Mitchem is taking over as CEO of BMO Global Asset Management (BMO GAM).

On Wednesday afternoon, the Expect Miracles Foundation ("Financial Services Against Cancer") team will host their 10th West Coast Classic. The golf tournament will be held at the Torry Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, California, and the evening reception will be held at the Lodge at Torrey Pines.
