A Denver area fund firm's top lawyer is retiring after more than 13 years with the firm.
Don Salcito, formerly executive vice president and general counsel at
Icon Advisers [
profile], retired from the Greenwood Village, Colorado-based firm on December 31,
MFWire has learned.
Salcito did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Chris Ambruso, general legal counsel at Icon, and
Craig Callahan, founder and president of Icon, did not immediately return calls for comment.
Salcito has spent nearly 40 years working in various aspects of securities law, including the legal side of the mutual fund and broker-dealer industries. He
joined Icon as
general counsel in 2005 after serving as a partner at law firm, Perkins Coie. Prior to that he worked with several B-Ds, including Stifel Nicolaus. His is an alumnus of UConn and of the University of Arizona.
