Edward Jones executive is moving on and taking over a non-profit next year. No one has yet been named to take his place.
David Levenson, principal in charge of products within the client strategies group at Edward Jones and member of the broker-dealer's management committee, will take over
LIMRA and
LOMA parent
LL Global as president and CEO, effective January 1, incoming LL Global board chair
Brandon Carter confirmed earlier this month. Levenson succeeds retiring LL Global president and CEO
Robert Kerzner and will join the LL Global board.
An Edward Jones spokesman declined to comment, beyond telling
MFWire that "Dave built a capable and experienced team that will assume his responsibilities."
An alumnus of UPenn's Wharton school, of Columbia, and of Hitotsubash University's School of International Corporate Strategy, Levenson joined Edward Jones in 2012. Prior to that he spent 17 years at the Hartford in several roles, ultimately serving as president of wealth management. Prior to that, he worked with Fidelity, Aetna, and Hewitt. He is alumnus of the boards of both LL Global and of the LIMRA LOMA Secure Retirement Institute.
