Today the Independent Directors Council (IDC) is kicking off its 2017 Fund Directors Conference. The three-day event is being held at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park in Chicago, Illinois. Speakers scheduled to take the main stage include: Chad Renfro, head of enterprise cybersecurity at Fidelity; Jonathan Zeschin, independent director for Matthews Asia Funds and chair of the IDC Governing Council; and many others.

Also today, the Informa team is kicking off Inside ETFs Europe. The three-day conference is being held at the Hilton Park Lane in London. BNP Paribas Asset Management, Deutsche Asset Management, Morningstar, MSCI, and a host of others are sponsoring.

Tonight DST's kasina team will kick off their 2017 national accounts summit with a dinner at Ilili in New York. The sessions will take place tomorrow at Convene in the TIAA building. Matt Fronczke, senior distribution and product consultant at DST, will deliver the keynote.

Tomorrow the Fixed Income Analysts Society, Inc. (FIASI) will host a luncheon featuring Jack Bogle, founder of Vanguard and FIASI hall of famer. The lunch will be held at the Cornell Club in New York.

On Wednesday the Opal Group team will kick off their 2017 Family Office and Private Wealth Management Forum West. The three-day event is being held at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California. Keynote speakers will include: John Christianson, CEO of Highland Private Wealth Management; Adam Gazzaley, professor at UC San Francisco and founder and executive director of Neuroscape; and Sebastian Terry, author of 100 Things. Also on Wednesday, the Eaton Vance media relations team will host an investment perspectives media luncheon at the Modern Restaurant in New York.
