Mitch Wurzer, vice president of national accounts and head of RIA strategy, has left his post at American Century [profile].

A spokesperson from American Century was not available for comment Wurzer's duties are being handled. Wurzer was also not available for comment.

Wurzer has been at American Century for 27 years. His responsibilities included the oversight and growth of key intermediary relationships, coordinating sales efforts, and developing new business initiatives with existing and prospective clients. According to FINRA's BrokerCheck, Wurzer's registration with American Century ended on December 31, 2016, and he is currently unregistered.

Wurzer earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and communications from Saint Louis University, and a masters in management from Baker University.
