Subadvisors


On October 7, Rothschild Asset Management Inc. will become a subadvisor to the Optimum Large Cap Value Fund. They will replace Herndon Capital Management, LLC.

Rainier Investments
Chief Investment Officer
Mark Dawson has resigned as a PM of the Rainier Large Cap Equity Fund, and as the chief investment officer of Rainier Investment Management. James Margard has resigned as a PM of the Rainier Mid Cap Equity Fund and the Rainier Small/Mid Cap Equity Fund.

Drina Loncar no longer serves as PM of the Guggenheim BulletShares 2024 High Yield Corporate Bond ETF and the Guggenheim BulletShares 2026 Corporate Bond ETF.

In September 2017, Roger Young will no longer serve as a PM to the Miller/Howard Income-Equity Fund and the Miller/Howard Drill Bit to Burner Tip Fund.

Exemptive Relief


Virtus Investment Advisers, Inc is requesting exemptive relief to create an interfund lending program.

Trustees


As of September 30, Stephen Wade has been elected chairman of the board, president, and a director of Tributary Funds, Inc. Wade is replacing Stephen Frantz. Wade also serves as senior vice president, investment services of First National Bank of Omaha.

Fund Mergers & Liquidations


On October 31, the First Trust Dividend and Income Fund, a closed-end fund (CEF), will merge with and into the First Trust High Income ETF.

On October 31, the Ziegler FAMCO Covered Call Fund will terminate and liquidate.

Management


On November 21, U.S. Bancorp Fund Services, LLC will replace BNY Mellon Investment Servicing (US) Inc as the fund administrator, fund accountant, transfer agent and dividend paying agent for the Abbey Capital Futures Strategy Fund.

Ultimus Fund Solutions, LLC has become the administrator, principal underwriter and distributor and fund accounting agent for Wilshire's Funds, including: the Large Company Growth Portfolio, the Large Company Value Portfolio, the Small Company Growth Portfolio, the Small Company Value Portfolio, the Wilshire 5000 Index Fund, the Wilshire International Equity Fund and the Wilshire Income Opportunities Fund. They replaced SEI Investments Global Funds Services.

Share Classes


AB Intermediate California Municipal Portfolio will no longer offer Class B shares.

On October 31, the Class A and the Class C shares of the Zacks Market Neutral Fund will be converted into investor class shares and institutional class shares, respectively. The Zacks All-Cap Core Fund will convert its Class A shares into investor class shares. The Zacks Small-Cap Core Fund will convert its Class C shares into investor class shares.

As of August 16, the Wilshire 5000 IndexSM Fund will close and liquidate the fund's qualified class shares. On November 30, the fund will close and liquidate the Horace Mann class shares as well.

Investment Strategy


On October 14, the ProShares UltraShort 3-7 Year Treasury will change its index from the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. 3-7 Year Treasury Bond Index to the ICE U.S. Treasury 3-7 Year Bond Index. The ProShares Ultra 7-10 Year Treasury, the ProShares Short 7-10 Year Treasury and the ProShares UltraShort 7-10 Year Treasury will change their index from the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. 7-10 Year Treasury Bond Index to the ICE U.S. Treasury 7-10 Year Bond Index. The ProShares Ultra 20+ Year Treasury, the ProShares Short 20+ Year Treasury, the ProShares UltraShort 20+ Year Treasury and the ProShares UltraPro Short 20+ Year Treasury will change their index from the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. 20+ Year Treasury Bond Index, the ICE U.S. Treasury 20+ Year Bond Index.

On November 30, the fund shareholders for the Wilmington Multi-Manager Alternatives Fund will vote on a revised investment goal for the fund.

Rebranding


As of October 1, the BlackRock Investment Grade Bond Portfolio has been renamed the BlackRock Managed Income Fund. The fund also changed its investment objective and investment strategies.

On November 30, the GE Investments Total Return Fund will undergo a name change and it will become the State Street Total Return V.I.S. Fund. The GE Investments Real Estate Securities Fund will become the State Street Real Estate Securities V.I.S. Fund. The GE Investments S&P 500 Index Fund will become the State Street S&P 500 Index V.I.S. Fund. The GE Investments Small-Cap Equity Fund will become the State Street Small-Cap Equity V.I.S. Fund. The GE Investments Core Value Equity Fund will become the State Street Core Value Equity V.I.S. Fund. The GE Investments U.S. Equity Fund will become the State Street U.S. Equity V.I.S. Fund. The GE Investments Premier Growth Equity Fund will become the State Street Premier Growth Equity V.I.S. Fund. The GE Investments Income Fund will become the State Street Income V.I.S. Fund. Also on November 30, BlackRock Investment Management, LLC will no longer serve as subadvisor to the fund. They will be replaced by SSGA Funds Management, Inc, as reported by the MFWire.
