After nine years with Prudential Investments, a channel chief is saying goodbye. Jim Devaney is filling the departing chief's shoes.

MFWire's sister publication, 401kWire, reported earlier this month that Chicago-based Michael Rosenberg recently left the asset management arm of the publicly-traded insurer. Rosenberg had served as senior vice president of DC I-O distribution, mutual funds and separate accounts.

Rosenberg referred inquires to a Pru spokeswoman. The spokeswoman confirms that Pru "remains highly committed" to DC I-O "under the leadership of Jim Devaney, national sales manager for Prudential Investments."

Back in May, 401kWire reported that Pru was realigning and shrinking its DC I-O wholesaling team.

Rosenberg, an alumnus of Northern Illinois University, joined Pru in 2007 after working at LaSalle Bank and GSAM.
