Denver-based
Tom Morrison and Chicago-based
Jonathon Dues have both joined the Cleveland-based mutual fund shop this month, our sister publication
401kWire reports.
Denver-based
Scott Neeb serves as head of Victory's DC I-O (defined contribution investment-only) retirement division. He referred inquiries to
Caroline Churchill, chief marketing officer for Victory, who declined to comment for this story. Morrison referred inquires to Neeb, and
MFWire could not immediately reach Dues for comment.
Both Dues and Morrison hail from top DC I-O jobs at other mutual fund shops. Morrison hails from
Alger [
profile], where he spent nearly 16 years and served as senior vice president of retirement markets.
Jim Tambone, executive vice president and chief distribution officer at Alger, tells
MFWire that he's looking to hire two DC I-O executives, one in a senior role like Morrison and another in "more of an AVP" role.
Meanwhile, Dues previously spent more than two years as national director of DC I-O sales at
RS Investments [
profile]. Victory
bought RS last month, seven months after
unveiling the deal.
Morrison is an alumnus of Louisiana State University. He worked at Merrill and Schwab before joining Alger in 2000.
Dues is an alumnus of Hillsdale College. He worked at Ibbotson (now part of M*) and Mesirow before joining RS in 2014.
