A key U.S. distribution executive is leaving
Allianz Global Investors [
profile].
MFWire has learned that
Roddy Marino, head of advisor sales at AGI, is moving on from the company.
MFWire could not immediately reach Marino himself or
John Carroll, head of U.S. retail for AGI, for comment on Marino's departure.
An alumnus of UVA, Marino worked at Turner Investment Partners and Chartwell Investment Partners before joining AGI in 2010.
Marino's departure comes amid bigger changes at AGI. In May AGI global CEO
Elizabeth Corley confirmed that AGI U.S. CEO
Brian Gaffney will retire at the end of 2015, to be succeeded by AGI Asia Pacific CEO
Doug Eu.
