It was a scary week in Boston, but fundsters carried on.
Here is how we reported the
initial response by firms to the attack and how
firms weathered the lockdown.
Firms that braved through confusion and fear include
Fidelity,
State Street,
Eaton Vance and
MFS.
Many of the firms had their employees work from home, using companywide alert systems to keep them informed. State Street soldiered on and held its analyst conference call.
Other news outlets that took note of Beantown fundsters' guts and grit include
Boston Globe,
CNBC,
P&I, and the
WSJ.
