The funds of seven asset managers made it to the top ten of the most-researched mutual funds from Jan. 1, 2012 through Dec. 31, 2012 on Morningstar Direct, according to InvestmentNews.

They included funds from T. Rowe Price; Loomis Sayles; Vanguard; Dodge & Cox; Fidelity, and Pimco.
