Pioneer [
profile] has hired away
J.P. Morgan's [
profile] head of alternative credit,
Tom Swaney,
CityWire reported.
According to the publication, Swaney joined the Pioneer’s U.S. headquarters in Boston at the end of January and assumed the role of director of alternative fixed income.
Swaney had been at J.P. Morgan for three years, according to his
Linkedin page. While there, he had also been a commentator on post-crisis credit opportunities.
He also previously held PM roles at Oppenheimer Funds and served as a senior analyst in fixed income at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
