Today’s Bill Gross news isn’t about his funds. It isn’t even about a long article comparing federal debt to some literary creature.

This week, it’s just about the Pimco [profile] chief and his family helping people. Gross, along with his wife Sue, have donated $20 million to the Cedars-Sinai medical center in Los Angeles.

The news was covered in Barron’s and the LA Times.

"We wanted to make a gift to support a worthy Los Angeles-based healthcare institution. Cedars-Sinai's mission resonated with us," said Sue Gross, president of the Gross Family Foundation, according to the Times
