Dai-ichi Life Insurance has increased its stake in
Janus.
According to a
recent filing,
Dai-ichi purchased 1.5 million shares, or $14.5 million, on Monday. The purchase raises Dai-ichi's stake in Janus by 1 percent.
A separate
13D filing confirms that Dai-ichi now owns 28 million shares, or a 14 percent stake, of Janus common stock.
Janus also sold off 1 million derivative securities (put options).
In August, the
MFWire had reported that Janus agreed to sell "at least 15 percent, and no more than 20 percent" of Janus common stock.
