An internal shuffle has left the top fund selection post at
Raymond James open.
Scott Curtis, president of Raymond James Financial Services, told
MFWire that
Andrew Gotfried has taken a role at the broker-dealer's mutual fund arm and he has not yet been replaced.
Curtis said that there is a search underway to replace Gottfried and that in the meantime he is temporarily taking over the role.
Gotfried has been Raymond James' director of mutual fund research and marketing and is now national accounts manager at
Eagle Asset Management [
profile], a Raymond James subsidiary.
The role opened by Gotfried includes the oversight of the mutual funds offered on the Raymond James platform and the creation selling agreements with the brokerage firm.
Other members of the mutual fund platform team at Raymond James include:
Tom Thornton, manager research, due diligence;
Kevin Pate, due diligence officer; and
Nick Lacy, vice president and director of institutional research for asset management services.
