Boutique fund shops are dominating the international stock fund sector. Or so one would think when looking at the five nominees chosen by
Morningstar this morning for the International-Stock Fund Manager
of the Year Award.
The largest mutual fund shop with a PM on the nominee list is
Invesco [

Harbor Funds [

Artisan Partners [

Tweedy Browne [

Wintegreen Advisors [

Morningstar's nominees are:
David Samra, Dan O'Keefe, Artisan International Value (ARTKX) and Artisan Global Value (ARTGX)
Jim LaTorre, Ted Wendell, Howard Appleby, Jean-Francois Ducrest, Harbor International (HAINX)
Steve Cao, Jason Holzer, Borge Endresen, Invesco International Small Company (IEGAX)
William Browne, John Spears, Tom Shrager, Bob Wyckoff, Tweedy, Browne Global Value (TBGVX)
David Winters, Wintergreen (WGRNX)
The Chicago-based firm plans to unveil the nominee list for the Domestic-Stock Fund Manager of the Year award on Thursday. Winners will be announced in January.
