Fund marketers on the lookout for a new opportunity may want to have a chat with Dave Ribbens. Heartland Advisors [see profile] has launched a search for a director of marketing. The post is a newly created one at the Milwaukee-based, value-centric mutual fund firm, said Ribbens, Heartland's head of distribution, in an interview with The MFWire.com.

The marketing director will report to Ribbens.

At present, Heartland's marketing staffers are reporting to Ribbens directly. Ribbens also runs the sales team.

Heartland is also looking for an e-commerce strategist who will report to the marketing director.
