William Blair & Company [see profile] just won a new sub- advisory mandate as Gartmore Global Partners lost one. This week UBS Global Management added William Blair to its PACE International Emerging Markets Equity Investments fund and removed Gartmore [see filing].

A UBS spokeswoman confirmed the switch but declined to comment further.

Blair principals Todd McClone and Jeffrey Urbina join the UBS fund as PMs. Delaware, Mondrian and Pzena still serve as sub-advisors to the fund.

William Blair and UBS Global Asset Management are both based in Chicago.
