Wally Weitz, PM of the $335 million Weitz Partners III Opportunity, is the subject of a Barron's profile published over the weekend.

Weitz, who runs three other equity funds, says Partners III Opportunity "is the most flexible of the lot—they're noticeably siblings since we pick stocks the same way for each of the portfolios," he told Barron's.

The fund has a three-year average annual return of 5.8 percent as of Dec. 2, according to Morningstar.
