Viking Mutual Funds' [
see profile] board plans to shut down
the
Viking Large-Cap Value Fund in November, pointing to the "low asset level, performance, unprofitability
and challenges in marketing the fund." [

Effective today, the fund's shares are no longer available for purchase. The fund will close on or about November 19.
The fund has $2.6 million of assets and carries a two-star rating from Morningstar.
The liquidation will leave the Integrity Viking fund family will 13 funds.
