Janus Capital Group earned $30.2 million in the second quarter,
compared with $15.8 million in the year-ago period.
The Denver-headquartered firm saw long-term net outflows of
$1.3 billion during the quarter. Mathematical equity and fundamental
equity long-term net outflows amounted to $1.5 billion and $1 billion, respectively. Meanwhile, Janus witnessed fixed income long-term net inflows of $1.2 billion.
Janus ended the second quarter with AUM of $147.2 billion, down from
$165.5 billon at the end of March, and up from $132.6 billion at the end of June
2009.
