Neuberger Berman hired William Barnes as senior vice president in institutional distribution focusing on public funds. San Francisco-based Barnes started with Neuberger today and reports to Carter Reynolds, managing director, who leads the public and Taft-Hartley distribution efforts.

Barnes was previously with Janus Capital Group, where he led the public funds group. He had also worked for Axa Rosenberg and Schroder Capital Management.
