Starting this month, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney is moving to institutional shares in most of its fee-based mutual fund platforms, as reported by The Wall Street Journal in February. The report did not specify which platforms will undergo the change.

An MSSB spokesperson was not immediately able to comment on Thursday on the start date of the change.

Mark Anson, president and executive director of investment services at Nuveen Investments, will leave the firm on April 5 and join Oak Hill Investment Management as managing partner on April 6.
