Bisys on NYSE

Bisys Group has begun trading on the New York Stock Exchange this week. The ticker symbol is "BSG". Previously, the company had been on the Nasdaq as "BSYS".



Bisys in Sunny Bermuda

Bisys is moving to acquire Hemisphere companies, which provides outsouring services in the hedge fund marketplace. Hemisphere is located in Bermuda and has centers in Boston and Dublin, Ireland -- all great places to visit. Hemisphere is currently owned by Mutual Risk Management.



EarthLink Adds Content

EarthLink subscribers will now have access to content from Forbes.com. They will also be able to access portfolio services. Forbes.com's services will appear on a number of the Internet provider's personal start pages.



Stepping Up at New York Life

New York Life Insurance Company has tapped Jonathan Jaramillo to serve as senior vice president of the northeastern agencies in the agency deparment. He has been with the firm for 18 years. He will be relocating to New York from Chicago.



Portman and Cardin Honored

The National Defined Contribution Council has named Rep. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Benjamin Cardin (D-Maryland) as recipients of the "Retirement Savings Advocate of the Year Award".
