eSecLending, a unit of Old Mutual, has named Susan Peters to the post of ceo. She was formerly coo. Also promoted was Christopher Jaynes. He now holds the title of coo, moving up from the position of senior vice president.

Peters joined eSecLending in March of last year as the coo. She was previously director of the agency lending program at Credit Suisse First Boston. Jaynes has been with the firm since its formation in 2000. He continues to hold the title of president of UAM Trust Company.

"Susan and Chris are well-respected senior executives in the securities lending industry and they have made invaluable contributions to eSecLending," stated Scott Powers, chairman of eSecLending and chief executive of Old Mutual. "I know they will continue to do an outstanding job keeping the firm client focused and technologically advanced as it grows."
