Arjun Divecha will succeed Jeremy Grantham as chairman of Grantham Mayo Van Otterloo & Co. in October, according to a published report.

Divecha is currently vice chair and head of the Boston firm's emerging markets equity division.

Grantham will remain a board member and continue in his role as the firm's chief investment strategist, Pensions & Investments reported.
