Michael Butler recently left his post as president of Nationwide Fund Distributors and is now a partner at venture capital firm NCT Ventures.

Butler departed Nationwide in April, company spokeswoman Erica Lewis confirmed to The MFWire.

Butler, who spent 20 years at Nationwide, could not immediately be reached for comment. Before moving to the fund distribution post in 2006, Butler had led sales of private sector retirement plans for the Columbus, Ohio-based firm.

NCT, also based out of Columbus, focuses on marketing and logistics businesses, according to its Web site.
