Pax World Management, which specializes in socially responsible funds, is on the hunt for a national ETF sales manager as it prepares to jump into the ETF business.

According to Pax's Web site, the Portsmouth, New Hampshire-based firm is looking for "an experienced wholesaler" for its soon-to-be launched ETFs.

Pax officials declined to comment on the search and the launch.

"We have filed a registration statement and an exemptive application, and are in a quiet period while they are pending," Pax CEO Joe Keefe said in an e-mailed statement to The MFWire.

Last December, Pax World filed with the SEC to launch the sShares KLD North America Sustainability Index ETF, sShares KLD Europe Asia Pacific Sustainability Index ETF and sShares FTSE Environmental Technologies (ET50) Index ETF.

Pax currently offers seven mutual funds.
