Mario Gabelli's daughter, Elisa M. Wilson, has joined Gamco Investors' board of directors, according to an 8-K filing on Monday. Wilson is the president and a trustee of Gabelli Foundation.

Wilson started as an employee of Gamco, which her father started in 1977, 10 years ago and has been on unpaid leave for several years, according to the filing.
