Vanguard may be weathering the rough times in the market well; the company is finally breaking ground on a 440,000 square feet complex at the site of Happy Days dairy farm in Pennsylvania,
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The complex was first approved in April of 2002, but as economic growth slowed, Vanguard delayed work on the complex. Construction on the new complex, which according to a Vanguard spokeswoman will house the existing crew an allow for growth over time, is slated to be finished around 2010.
