The top lawyer at the Bisys Group has resigned company officials said Tuesday morning.
Kevin J. Dell, executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Bisys is leaving to pursue other opportunities.
Edward S. Forman, senior vice president and associate general counsel, is taking over as an acting general counsel until Bisys names a permanent successor for Dell.
Bisys spokesman Daniel Briggs said that Dell was leaving to pursue more M&A and transaction-oriented work. Dell was "intimately involved in our acquisition pipeline," but Bisys is now focusing on internal revenue growth and margin expansion, said Briggs.
"The operating environment of the company is a little bit different" than when Dell started, said Briggs.
