Michael D. Benson, vice chairman of
Amvescap, will resign from the company at the end of this month. Benson will also leave Amvescap's board of directors. Taking his place on the board is
John D. Rogers, executive vice president of Amvescap and chief executive officer of Invesco.
The announcements were made in a
release on Friday.
Benson, 61, is leaving to "pursue non-executive activities," officials stated in the release.
