Phoenix Companies have brought on
Christopher Walsh to help target the retirement and sub-advisory channels. Walsh joins Phoenix as a managing director.
Walsh reports to
Amy Fisher, president of institutional markets for Phoenix Investment Partners
"Back in June, Phoenix announced plans to fortify and add staff to its Taft-Hartley/Public and Sub-Advisory channels--areas we've recognized as being strong candidates for growth," stated Fisher.
"These channels represent tremendous opportunity for our asset management business to gather assets and build partner market share," said
Daniel Geraci, executive vice president, The Phoenix Companies.
Walsh leaves CDC IXIS Asset Management, where he was senior vice president of defined contribution and subadvisory sales, said Peter Joyce, CDC IXIS spokesman. "We're actively looking [for a replacement]," said Joyce.
Phoenix Investment Partners is the asset management subsidiary of the Phoenix Companies.
