The Wharton School's online journal and the Nightly Business Review know what it takes to lead. Or at least to write a book about what it takes.

The two (who identify themselves as "two of the world's most respected sources of business insight") join forces to identify 25 of the top leaders in industry over the past 25 years.

Fidelity's Peter Lynch and Vanguard's John Bogle made the cut. Bigwigs also on the list of the "greatest business leaders of our generation": Sam Walton of Wal-Mart, Oprah Winfrey, George Soros, Soros Fund Management, Lee Iacocca of Chrysler, Ted Turner of Turner Broadcasting and Charles Schwab.
