The $500 million fund was previously only available to institutional investors, reported Forbes
"We hope this will open up community investing to a whole new class of investors," Forbes
reported CRAFund Advisors managing director Barbara VanScoy as saying.
The fund invests in securities that have a positive impact on community development.
The minimum investment for the fund is $2,500.
