Investment Company Institute president elect Paul Schott Stevens spoke Wednesday at ICI's General Membership Meeting in Washington, D.C. He called the Institute "an organization with a proud history and a bright future."

Stevens reminded those in the mutual fund industry that they are no strangers to "formidable challenges and extraordinary change." He said that innovation and integrity were the basis of the industry's historical success and should be its foundation moving forward.
