T. Rowe Appoints 2 As an 18Y Company Vet Retires

Reported by Selma Khenissi, Reporter

A governance leader in the City of Seven Wonders is exiting a publicly traded, $1.62-trillion-AUM*, 88-year-old, Maryland fund firm after 18 years, while two other leaders are being appointed.

Donna Anderson is leaving T. Rowe Price [profile], MFWire has learned. Flagstaff, Arizona-based Anderson's most recent past role at the Baltimore-based asset manager was head of corporate governance, and her last day at the firm was October 31, a T. Rowe spokesperson writes to MFWire.

"Jocelyn Brown, who served as Head of Governance for EMEA and APAC since 2020, was named Global Head of Corporate Governance, effective July 1, 2025. In late August, T. Rowe Price hired Nina Aicardi to the role of Head of Corporate Governance, Americas," the spokesperson writes when asked who would be succeeding Anderson following her departure from T. Rowe

"Donna had an unbelievably positive influence on our investment process. She was a well-respected leader not only in company board rooms and in the asset management industry's corporate governance circles, but also within T. Rowe Price," Eric Veiel, head of global investments and chief investment officer at T. Rowe, writes to MFWire in an emailed statement. "We thank her for many contributions in protecting the interest of our fund shareholders. She will be missed."

"With gratitude and fond memories, I have retired from T. Rowe Price. Between my 18 seasons there and the ones with a previous asset manager, I voted my way through 25 Proxy Seasons in a row. As it turns out, that is my limit," writes Anderson on LinkedIn. "To my governance-focused investor friends who might aspire to your own lengthy streak, my advice is to be more of a contrarian. With the amount of low-value activity required of today's stewardship leads, most will burn out well before 25," she adds.

Anderson first joined T. Rowe in 2007. Before then, her past stints included Invesco and time with Dyer, Robertson & Lamme. She is an alumna of the University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business and of Trinity University.

Brown first joined T. Rowe in 2020. Before then, she had previous stints with RPMI Railpen, Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), Shell, Financial Reporting Council, Finance Wales, Capgemini, IBM Institute for Business Value, Imperial Innovations, InferMed Ltd, and SPSS Inc. She is an alumna of Imperial College London and of the University of Cambridge.

Before joining T. Rowe earlier this year, Aicardi's past stints include time with Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), Callaway Capital Management, LLC, Profit Investments, Telsey Advisory Group, Deutsche Bank, EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), and U.S. Bancorp Libra. She is an alumna of Columbia Business School and of Stanford University.
