Last Friday, April 5,
Anne Putnam, CEO of
Fenimore Asset Management (home of the FAM Funds) [

Christian Snyder, president of Fenimore,
hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Cobleskill, New York-based asset manager's new office in Albany, at 142 Wolf Road, as
planned.
Frank Privitera, director of marketing at Fenimore, confirms that
relationship manager Erin Luciano (nee Richardson, who first joined Fenimore in 2018) manages the new Albany office.

"It's a very busy main road with much commerce," Privitera writes to
MFWire, "and it's near the Albany International Airport."
Fenimore's new Wolf Road office is about four miles away from the firm's former Albany office, at 4 Executive Park, near Stuyvesant Plaza, Privitera confirms. (The new Albany office is also about 41 miles east of firm's headquarters.) The Wolf Road office has about 3,200 square, Privitera confirms, which is more than double the roughly 1,400 square feet at the Executive Park office.

"We wanted to make sure that the investor experience and work environment are the same as our Cobleskill headquarters while increasing our Capital Region visibility and access," Snyder states. "People can meet us and benefit from Fenimore's half-century of experience in successfully navigating complex economic and financial market cycles."
The new space on Wolf Road has eight Fenimore employees and can support up to ten, compared to just three in total at the old space, Privitera says. (Fenimore now has 41 employees in total, meaning the new Albany office accounts for nearly 20 percent of the firm's total headcount.)
The relocation and expansion of Fenimore's Albany office comes as they are celebrating the firm's 50th anniversary this year, as the firm was founed in 1974. The big birthday is coming up in November, Privitera confirms.
"We have a variety of activities planned at our Cobleskill HQ and new Albany office," Privitera writes.
"In honor of our 50th anniversary, we'd also like to announce that we will be making five major charitable gifts in the region as part of our overall culture of philanthropic support," Putnam states." "The donations will be in the areas of The Arts, Education, Health Care, Human Services, and Youth Development."
