Three firms with U.S. mutual fund businesses are among the top 15 U.S. companies "demonstrating outstanding respect, care and concern for their employees, their communities and the environment," according to the folks at a national magazine and a workplace culture specialist.

Yesterday, the teams at
Great Place to Work and
People unveiled their 2023
list of the
People Companies That Care. The Great Place to Work team has been gathering data for more than 25 years, and this year's list of 100 companies is based on a survey of more than 1.3 million U.S. employees.
Among fund firms,
Baird tops this year's list, ranking 5th.
Edward Jones (home of Bridge Builder) ranks 6th. And
Nationwide ranks 11th.
