A Des Moines, Iowa-based asset management veteran is moving into a new division, and the hunt is on for her successor.
Farnaz Maters has moved into the role of vice president and chief marketing officer for Des Moines, Iowa-based
Principal Financial Group's retirement and income solutions (RIS) unit on January 30. Her most immediate past role was chief marketing officer in the
Principal Asset Management.
Currently,
Ellen Shumway, head of global product and marketing, is leading the "global alignment" of the Principal Asset Management product and marketing strategy, a Principal spokesperson tells
MFWire. That spokesperson confirms that, with Maters moving to RIS, the Principal team is looking for a new global chief marketing officer for Principal AM.
