A $9.2-billion-AUS (as of December 31) boutique's team is rolling out their 13th ETF in less than three years.

Today, Eduardo Repetto, chief investment officer of American Century's Avantis Investors arm [profile], unveils the Avantis U.S. Small Cap Equity ETF (AVSC on the NYSE Arca, Inc.). The new, actively managed ETF launched on Tuesday as a series of the American Century ETF Trust.

The new fund comes with an expense ratio of 25 basis points. It is co-PMed by Repetto and senior portfolio managers Mitchell Firestein, Daniel Ong, and Ted Tandall, and they use a proprietary, systematic approach. American Century Investment Management, Inc. serves as the fund's investment advisor.

Repetto describes the new fund as complementing what the folks at Avantis "already offer in the small cap space."
