Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc. has hired Kirsten A. Bjork to head strategic accounts Ivy Funds Distributor,Inc., the broker-dealer for the Ivy Funds.

Her title is national director of strategic accounts. She reports to J. Bradley Ross, executive vice president and national sales manager

Bjork comes to Waddell & Reed from ING Funds, where she was a vice president and national account manager for the last three years. Before ING, she held senior positions at Seligman Investments and the Vanguard Investment Group.
