Bridges most recently served as editorial director in ICI's public communications department. She will keep some of those duties while taking on her new role at ICIEF, the educational affiliate of ICI.
Stevens lauds Bridges' "knowledge of the fund industry and deep experience in ICI's public communications efforts."
Bridges puts her new role in the context of the widespread importance of "financial literacy and investor education."
"I'm honored to lead ICIEF's outreach and efforts to help more Americans achieve financial security," Bridges states.
An alumna of the University of Westminster and of the University of Georgia, Bridges joined ICI in 2008 as managing editor in the public communications department before changing to the editorial director role in 2013. Earlier on, she worked at Regnery Publishing (a book publisher) and as a Congressional staffer.
Kilroy, an alumna of Georgetown University and of the University of Notre Dame, has spent her entire career at ICI. She joined in 2005 as a research assistant, and since then she has served in a variety of other roles, including: senior research assistant, supervisor (and later manager) of statistical research, and web editor. In 2015, she became manager of digital communications at ICI and vice president of ICIEF. She now serves as director of digital media at ICI.
