Seven value PMs from six mutual fund firms are teaming up online next week.

Next Tuesday, May 12, in the afternoon, Mellody Hobson, co-CEO and president of Chicago-based Ariel Investments, will host a virtual discussion, called Invaluable Insights, on pandemic portfolio management challenges. Those chiming in will include: Rupal Bhansali, chief investment officer of international and global equities at Ariel; Staley Cates, vice chairman of Memphis-based Southeastern Asset Management (which offers the Longleaf Partners Funds); Mario Gabello, founder, chairman and CEO of Rye, New York-based Gamco; David Herro, partner and CIO of international equity at Chicago-based Harris Associates (which offers the Oakmark Funds); Bill Miller, chairman and CIO of Baltimore-based Miller Value Partners; Daniel O'Keefe, managing director and founding partner of global value partner at Milwaukee-based Artisan Partners; and John Rogers, chairman, co-CEO, and CIO at Ariel.

Those wishing to attend must pre-register for the event and can pre-submit questions. The discussion is expected to last an hour and a half.
