It's a big week for the
iShares team at
BlackRock, for the man known as the "Godfather of ETFs," and for the folks at 21 other firms (including more than a dozen fund firms).

Yesterday
CBOE's ETF.com team
revealed the winners of their 2019
ETF.com Awards. (This was their seventh annual batch of awards, and it's the first year when the awards weren't revealed first at a celebratory dinner in the Big Apple.)
Like
last year, the BlackRock folks won five ETF.com awards, again more than any other firm. Three of those awards were for a single ETF: the
iShares ESG MSCI USA Leaders ETF (SUSL). Meanwhile,
Reggie Browne, principal at
GTS (an ETF market maker), won the lifetime achievement award, the only individual award in the lot.
The multiple-award winners were
Toroso and its
Tidal ETF Services arm, which won three awards, and
Alpha Architect, which won two.
The other winning ETF shops included:
American Century's Avantis,
Ark,
Barclays,
CICC,
Rafferty's Direxion,
Mirae's Global X,
GraniteShares,
Innovator,
ProShares,
Roundhill,
Strategy Shares,
VanEck, and
Vanguard.
Other winners included:
Charles Schwab (as a brokerage and platform), ETF strategist
CLS Investments, liquidity provider
Jane Street, law firm
Morgan Lewis and Bockius, index provider
Solactive, and custodian
U.S. Bank.
