After more than a decade and a half away, a veteran fundster wholesaler is returning to John Hancock.

William Lee Friebel, Jr. John Hancock Investment Management Vice President, Business Consultant

Bill Friebel is joining John Hancock Investment Management as vice president and business consultant covering the St. Louis area and much of Missouri, MFWire has learned. Friebel most recently served as vice president and senior advisor consultant at Invesco.

Spokespeople with Hancock and Invesco were not immediately able to comment.

Friebel spent 13 years at OpFunds, then stayed on last spring when Invesco bought OpFunds. Before joining OpFunds in 2006, Friebel worked at Evergreen Investments and AIG. He also worked with Hancock for a couple years in the early 2000s. He attended Fontbonne University.
