Helen Vaughan has
retired from her position at
J O Hambro Capital Management [
profile]. A 15-year JOHCM veteran, London-based
Vaughan served as J O Hambro's chief operating officer.
Patrice Kozlowski, a spokesperson for J O Hambro, tells
MFWire that
Markus Lewandowski has taken over Vaughan's role as COO. After initially starting as an external consultant, Lewandowski was appointed to head of change management in April 2018. As COO, he will continue to report to the U.K.-based CEO,
Alexandra Altinger.
Vaughan's departure comes even as a new CEO is
slated to take over JOHCM's U.S. business in December.
In addition to her time at J O Hambro, Vaughan's almost thirty years of industry experience includes positions at Credit Suisse Asset Management, SLC & CS, and Framlington. She earned her BA from the University of Leicester.
Prior to his time at J O Hambro, Lewandowski served for twelve years as head of information technology at Marathon Asset Management and spent four subsequent years as an independent consultant.
JOHCM has $38.1 billion in AUM worldwide, including about $15 billion from U.S. clients, as of June 30.
