A Sacrameto area mutual fund sales executive is switching sides. A former senior director in the wealth management channel at Des Moines, Iowa-based Principal Global Investors, Greg Zane, has recently left and switched to the other side of the business as a financial advisor with Granite Bay, California-based Westlake, Grahl and Glover's private wealth advisory practice, MFWire has learned.

Zane stated, "I'll forever be grateful to Principal for providing my family and I with such amazing opportunities and couldn’t be more excited to join the incredible team at Westlake, Grahl and Glover for the next chapter."

A California Polytechnic State University- San Luis Obispo alumnus, Zane served at Principal for nearly 12 years. He began at Principal as an internal wholesaler, to then climb to regional director, followed by his most recent title of senior director. Prior to his time at Principal, Zane was manager of stock plans at E*Trade Financial.
