After an eight year stretch with
Invesco, senior account executive
Kevin Nielsen is moving on.
| Kevin Thomas Carl Nielsen Russell Investments Business Development Manager | |
As of Monday, June 17, Nielsen began working at
Russell Investments as business development manager. His duties include managing and growing partnerships between Russell and national firms. Nielsen joins the Seattle-based firm at their offices in Chicago.
At Invesco, Nielsen operated as director of financial advisor platforms, where he facilitated strategic partnerships between Invesco and other firms. An Invesco spokesperson did not immediately return a call for comment.
Andrew Scherer, managing director of defined contribution and business development at Russell, stated that "Kevin brings a wealth of experience in sales, client service and distribution strategy from Invesco where he managed a number of relationships and delivered solid results. He has developed strong connectivity with key firms which will help Russell Investments continue to grow these partnerships."
A Russell spokesperson stated that Nielsen's hiring filled a vacant position at the company.
Nielsen's move comes following the
recent merger between Invesco and
OppenheimerFunds.
Nielsen, an alumnus of Taylor University twice over, previously worked at Charles Schwab.
