John McDonough has picked a fellow OpFunds alum as chief for a team focused on the 529 and insurance channels.

Mike Eustic, formerly vice president and head of subadvisory at OppenheimerFunds, has taken over as national sales manager, third party at Invesco [profile], after Invesco's OpFunds purchase closed a week ago. Eustic is based in New York City, OpFunds' hometown.

Eustic and an Invesco spokesperson did not immediately return calls for comment.

An alumnus of the University of Rhode Island, Eustic joined OpFunds in 2013 and rose to head of subadvisory in 2018. Earlier in his career he worked at Lord Abbett and AllianceBernstein.
